The Studio

IB Interiors is a Los Angeles based design practice, working bi-coastally between Los Angeles and New York, led by Ilse Britt.

Over ten years, her work has moved across boutique hospitality and residential restoration, with a particular focus on preserving a space's architectural character whilst bringing it into new use. A background in interior architecture and fashion styling gives the studio a multidisciplinary lens: form, function, and feeling, considered together rather than in sequence.

Design Philosophy

A considered space is more than something that simply looks well-composed, it's something you feel, down to the smallest detail, often before you can explain why.

Design, at its best, holds emotion and utility at once: a calm visual language that makes room for creativity, conversation, and comfort.
